When the fruit is delivered to our premises, every batch is identified with a sticker containing all the information needed to track its history and origin. When every detail has been checked, the produce is stored in cold cells. From time to time, the barcodes on the labels of stocked produce are read using optical scanners to prepare the various shipping and/or processing batches; all packaged products will in turn be accompanied by a label with an alphanumeric code (and even a barcode) used to trace the origin of the contents. Finally, for each shipment completed you will be able to identify all the lots in that shipment because the information is printed on the transport documents (DDTs).
Periodically, the quality service of Fruit Modena Group reviews the effectiveness of this system and makes improvements, if needed, to ensure complete efficiency.
